– [Voiceover] June asks, “My
husband is a big picture “kind of guy, but so is his wishlist. “Any advice on Christmas
shopping for this type?” – June, this is a great question. If he’s a big picture kinda guy like I am, I can answer this
perfectly so I hope he is because I know exactly what I want, which is one-of-a-kind experiences or effort, let me explain, meaning, you don’t need to spend a lotta money. For example, here is the greatest gift that Lizzie could ever get me. She could go around for months, my 40th is coming up next November, she can go around and
interview every person that I’ve ever met, or she should come to Vayner and basically get everybody on video telling me that
I’m the greatest, right? That to me is an ultimate present and it’s unscalable, that’s a lotta work. To me, the way to really wow your husband is to make something
that is a one-of-a-kind and something that is not scalable. See, my friends, the reason people like those kind of gifts is it’s effort. Money… A lot of times, listen,
it’s hard to get money, but a lot of money from a
gifting standpoint is easy. You spend and you buy
something, that’s great. But your time, your effort,
your heart and soul, those are the things you can’t replace, and so for my wife and I
and the likeminded people that I’ve met in my life, it
is about those experiences. It’s about the dinner that you have that’s special that somebody cooks, or when somebody makes something. Lizzie got me a gift for
our 10th wedding anniversary that I’ll keep to myself
that is so incredible and it speaks to that
world, and so I would try to do something that’s not scalable. Call up five of his
best friends growing up that he’s fallen out of touch with and have them create an audio podcast of reminiscing of stories
when they were kids, something that just isn’t replicatable, something that can’t be bought, something that took your
effort to execute for him. – [Voiceover] Antoine asks,
“What keeps you up at night?”

“What actor would you want to play you in a movie about your life?” – Lisa, when the movie of my life is made, which I’m pretty substantially betting on it happening, you know, what I’m looking for in 25 years, ’cause I’m a slower grinder, right. Like, don’t get confused VaynerNation. 99% of the […]

betting on it happening, you know, what I’m
looking for in 25 years, ’cause I’m a slower grinder, right. Like, don’t get confused VaynerNation. 99% of the world has no
idea who I am, minimumly. But I’m a grinder and I
feel good about where I sit in the “is this worthy of a movie” lexicon in 25-30 years from now. So I don’t know who I want to play me because obviously there’ll
be different versions but whoever is the most attractive would be the direction I’d be looking for.

has India replaced Steve on the show? Where’s he at?” – Ross, this is a perfectly timed question, because India is right here. – I’m sorry Steve. – And there’s Zak. And Andrew, and then go over here to Staphon and Alex behind him, and DRock get your hand in there somehow. Good. You may […]

perfectly timed question, because India is right here. – I’m sorry Steve. – And there’s Zak. And Andrew, and then go over here to Staphon and Alex behind him, and DRock get your hand in there somehow. Good. You may notice, no Steve. Steve, this is a message to you. Like I said on email this morning, there is no sickness on our team. When you miss the day,
this is what happens. – Hey Gary.

“the autograph?” And, “How will it go down at Wine Library on Saturday?” – Chris, the selfie has replaced the autograph. Straight up, how will it go on Saturday? “the autograph?” And, “How will it go down at
Wine Library on Saturday?” – Chris, the selfie has
replaced the autograph. Straight up, how will it go on Saturday? And you’re referencing the Wine Library from 11 AM to six PM appearance, that so many of you in the VaynerNation are not coming to. I read the comments yesterday, you know, I don’t understand how a man can’t convince his girlfriend to take a drive from West Virginia. You know, if you need to make me call her, I will, email me her phone number, I’ll convince her on the
phone in two minutes, and I’m not even her boyfriend. So, anyway, what’s gonna go down is this, I think a lot of people are gonna come, both in the business and the wine world, a lot of them are you old time friends
that grew up watching WineLibraryTV, maybe even people I knew when I was a kid,
growing up in the store. So, that will be fun, but I expect to take a whole lot of these, absolutely. And more interestingly, one of the really interesting phenomenons
that I’m seeing in trends is how many kids are actually printing out selfies with famous
people and then posting them in their lockers. I think it’s really interesting, and so, for sure that is now the social. You know, autographs are social currency, they represent, you can go in your seat. – Oh okay.
– Go ahead, you can go in your seat. It’s your seat. The autograph showed, the autograph showed kind of like that social, you know, equity that like, “Hey,
I met India, right.” And so now the selfie’s
even more powerful, more scalable, it has 100%
replaced the autograph.

– [Voiceover] Simplybeingmum asks, are you a morning person? – I am not a morning person. I sleep like a brick. Like, I mean, I literally believe that somebody could break into my home, stab me in the leg with a knife and still then continue to steal everything out of my apartment. I just […]

– [Voiceover] Simplybeingmum asks, are you a morning person? – I am not a morning person. I sleep like a brick. Like, I mean, I literally believe that somebody could break into my home, stab me in the leg with a knife and still then continue
to steal everything out of my apartment. I just sleep hard. And so when I wake up,
it’s just not great. That being said, no
question, I’m waking up a hell of a lot better
because of my working out. A lot of times I’ve been talking about how I haven’t picked up energy but what I have picked up
is the ability to wake up on this five and half,
six hour kind of window that I sleep, which I
know a lot of you think I sleep three or four hours. Heck, I’d sleep seven or eight if I can really like, when and if I can… By the way, and this is a
whole another long thing that we gotta get into eventually, it’s not about how much you sleep. It’s what you do while you’re awake. So, a couple things for
the question of the day.

– [Voiceover] YaboyLV asks what is your favorite pair of sneakers of all time? – That’s a nice little segue from the last question. My favorite pair of sneakers hands down is the 1985, I think, Patrick Ewing Adidas. I’m a huge Knicks fan. Let me tell you my all-time hated pairs of shoes. Every […]

Ewing and the 85 Adidas.

– [Voiceover] Lyndon asks in the first 30 seconds of someone meeting you, what do you reveal about yourself? – Lyndon, this is a great question and I’m gonna give you a great, I’m declaring a great answer alert. – [Voiceover] Lyndon asks in the first 30 seconds
of someone meeting you, what do you reveal about yourself? – Lyndon, this is a great question and I’m gonna give you a great, I’m declaring a great answer alert. (trumpets blaring) I can probably get somebody to consume something from me
within the first 13 seconds let alone 30 seconds because
it’s not what I’m gonna say, it’s how I feel. See, words are great but
energy’s a whole different game and I win on that game, right. And so within the first 30 seconds, I’m gonna establish and
have always established from my entire life from first grade, first 30 seconds in to
any business meeting to when I’m in a big off site when everybody goes around the room and says, “I’m Staphon.
I work at VaynerMedia.” But then I do my, “I’m
Gary, I’m a Jets fan.” Like, I within 30 seconds, set the tone vibe wise, if I don’t get to say something which is rare for me, not to say something within the first 30 seconds. I establish that I’m different. Yeah, I’m different. – [Voiceover] YaboyLV asks
what is your favorite pair

– [Voiceover] Courtney asks, “Does it bother your wife that you constantly spin your ring?” – No. Lizzie’s way too big picture for something as silly as that. – [Voiceover] Courtney asks, “Does it bother your
wife that you constantly spin your ring?” – No. Lizzie’s way too big picture for something as silly as that. This is what always pisses me off, right. You see me spinning the ring, and you decide, not you, but like, people decide, oh, he must be on his fifth ring. All my friends who never spin their ring and are very conservative
and don’t travel the world and don’t hustle 19 hours a day, all those people, they’re
on their third ring. Me? Right, you know, everybody talks about me being chaotic, and all this
stuff, and I’m like chaos and not tight and lists. Meanwhile, I don’t lost my phone, I haven’t lost my wallet, I don’t leave my bag. Meanwhile, all these people around me, the A-types, they’ve left their phone, they’ve lost their things, so, don’t sleep on my carelessness because it is dramatically smaller than most of you think. I could be chaos and
practical at the same time, and that’s what I am. And, so, Lizzie isn’t scared
of me spinning my ring because I’ll never lose it, got it?

– [Voiceover] Damian asks, “Gary, do you script answers or improvise? How much time do you invest in prep and production per show?” – Damian, you know, here’s how it goes down. Steve, you know, or India in the future might, you know, just run through the questions. I do want to have once, you […]

– [Voiceover] Damian asks, “Gary, do you script answers or improvise? How much time do you invest in
prep and production per show?” – Damian, you know,
here’s how it goes down. Steve, you know, or India in the future might, you know, just run through the questions. I do want to have once, you know, it’s funny, I just did the Rapid Fire on Bloomberg. As a matter of fact, it’s
weird that we actually even read the questions because I actually
prefer them coming cold. We may even go to that. I’m not sure why I do that. But that’s it. Here come the questions. Cool. Maybe gives me a minute or two while I’m answering this question to think about the next one, ’cause I want to give the
best answers I possibly can, but I’m very comfortable in improv. I prefer it. I feel like they’re fresh. I think one of the main reasons
you guys watch this show is because I bring it fresh and real, and I think that matters, and that’s pretty much where
I’m at with the prep time. And the production,
that’s DRock, Staphon,
